Top Jobs for Enterprising People
I hope you’ve recovered from Saturday’s Party
If not, Alka Selzer usually works for me. If you played the game, you’ll have come up with three groups. Now you need to find your three letters, that is the first letter of each of the three groups you spent time with at the Party. So if your three groups were Artistic, Creative and Enterprising, you’ll get ACE.
Today we’ll take a look at E, that is, good jobs for enterprising people.
If you have an enterprising personality, you’ll probably find that are good with words, a talent which you can use to great effect in jobs involving selling and leading. You are also likely to be very persuasive and enjoy convincing others that you are right. Jobs involving precision or long bouts of concentration might make you impatient or bored. You are generally confident, adventurous, energetic, enthusiastic, and also tend to be dominant.
This is beginning to sound a little like a description of a star sign. So treat it like a horoscope – something to be taken with a grain of salt. However, there is probably a grain of truth in there as well. So take what fits and reject what doesn’t.
Enterprising people are often suited to jobs in the business arena, as they can be competitive
and even aggressive. Jobs in areas such as business education, finance, real estate and administration are often good matches for them. You may enjoy tasks like project managing and decision making. Some of the best jobs for enterprising people are in fields such as advertising, marketing, financial services, top executive posts and general managerial roles. Careers in law or human resources are also up there amongst the best jobs for enterprising people. “Best” is this case is determined by number of openings, earnings and expected rate of growth. But remember that best is a relative term, the best job for one person could be absolute hell for another. And not everyone considers a lot of money or the chance to make it to the top of the ladder important in terms of job satisfaction.
